Anna is a well respected, positive, outcome orientated senior physiotherapist.
While pretty much bed ridden from an injury throughout her second pregnancy in 2012- completed her studies for the Certificate of Business Ownership and transformed her dreams to reality with the opening of the A+Physio in Dunedin. The A+ Physio Team is like a family, appreciating everyone’s individual strengths, brainstorming together and caring for each other.
Anna holds registration as a physiotherapist in New Zealand, Victoria-Australia and Hungary-European Union.
She is member of Physiotherapy New Zealand.
She graduated in 2002 as a Physiotherapist at the University of Pecs, Hungary and gained Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences in Pain Management through the University of Otago.
She also gained a Diploma as a Sport Instructor in gymnastics. Studied Anatomy, Human Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Semmelweis University- Faculty of Medicine.
Anna’s clinical work experience of over 19 years in New Zealand includes community pain management program lead, private practice musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, pool and gym rehabilitation
She also has a wide range of experience from Hungary including the rehabilitation of children with special needs; acute trauma with septic complications and neurological, musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Anna is passionate about her profession, enjoys working with all age groups (had patients from a day old to 107!) and loves challenges!
Coming from a family of 8 siblings she became a patient, understanding and passionate person.
She is a loving mother of their energetic kids, who certainly keep their parents on their toes outside of working hours.
Anna believes, that a key to success is to be able to focus on positive goals, not to give up the hope and keep searching for solutions. She listens to her clients and always looks at the full picture and would never look at any joints/body parts in isolation. She also knows, that not one person “knows it all”. She is working very closely with amazing health and fitness related professionals within the wider Dunedin area and consulting other professionals nationally and internationally when necessary.
With her unique approach Anna managed to help hundreds of clients who just about lost hope that they can get better and feels very fortunate to be able be part of magical stories weeks after weeks.
Anna is now a key worker for ACC’s Pain Management and Training for Independence Services, that allows her to coordinate multidisciplinary input for clients with complex needs and for those who suffer from Chronic Pain following an injury.

Kenny is a Senior Physiotherapist with master’s degree and 15 years clinical experience. He is also a trained Acupuncturist, Certified DMA Clinical Pilates Instructor and experienced in Modern Cupping Method.
He has a colourful international training and practice history from Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. He can utilize a broad variety of treatment techniques both from the East and the West for the best outcome for his clients. Kenny’s main focus is the Quality of Life of the individuals.
Kenny is also a passionate educator. He enjoys teaching fellow Health Practitioners, motivated Students and running seminars for the wellbeing of the wider Public.
Outside of work Kenny loves spending time with his young family, hiking, stand up paddle boarding and following anything sports. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English and here to serve the Dunedin community.
Born in Egypt to globetrotting parents, Ez is well versed in cultural diversity. He enjoys interacting with people from all diverse backgrounds and appreciates the uniqueness in individuals past experiences that shapes them the way they are today. Outside of work Ez enjoys being in and with nature and undertaking creative pursuits.
Ez graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago. He had worked extensively in private musculoskeletal practices in Wellington and Dunedin. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2012 and in 2013 he undertook a Master of Physiotherapy by research examining the biomechanics of the jaw.
Ez has been a well-respected Senior Physiotherapist at A+ Physio for 10 years. His advanced Manual Therapy skills are highly sought after from near and afar. Ez enjoys the management of complex cases and works with his clients in a holistic way. He builds great rapport with clients with neck, jaw, spinal issues and cervicogenic headaches. Ez is also a qualified Voice Physiotherapist and a Certified Personal Trainer.
Bron is our Administration Manager. She loves meeting new people which makes her a great fit for our team and is the first friendly face to greet you as you walk through our door.
Her background sees over 30 years’ experience in office management. Not only does she manage the office, making sure it runs smoothly, from booking in your appointments to processing ACC claims, product sales and accounts, but she must keep us all in line too!
Born in Dunedin she has lived here most of her life. When she is not at work you will probably find her in her kitchen, entertaining and cooking up a storm for family and friends, or out walking, exploring the great outdoors with her daughter Emma.
Toni is a highly passionate and caring physiotherapist. She is originally from Maungaturoto, a small town in Northland. She studied here in Otago and graduated in 2018. She now feels as a local in Dunedin, enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, and plays social football. Toni enjoys working with a multi-directional approach to treat serious injuries and long-standing issues.
Her treatments include advice, massage, mobilization, dry needling, shockwave therapy and exercises in many different settings. She would discuss further referral where needed (for example scans, dietician, occupational therapist, GP, medication reviews).
Toni completed a FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2019 and enjoys working with football players at any level. Toni has a strong emphasis on incorporating latest research into her treatment and endeavours to build the best skill- set for the benefit of her clients. This year she will be completing a post graduate certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy through the University of Otago.
Jacob has been born and raised in Dunedin, a true local with a strong connection with the Dunedin community. He loves to be outdoors enjoying the mountains. Skiing, mountain biking, tramping, and playing ice hockey are his favorite things to do with his spare time. He has experience working at hospitals and seeing injuries/surgeries in the most early stages, as well as in private practice providing rehab to higher levels of activity. Jacobs approach to physio focuses on establishing a good relationship with you as the client, providing education and understanding of your injury. He has a wide range of interests in musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical, and concussion rehabilitation. Treatment will usually include a mix of hands on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
Ilana is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion in management of spinal and lower limb injuries. She implements a holistic approach that integrates techniques such as dry needling, modern cupping, soft tissue massage, and exercise/ Pilates therapy. Outside of work, Ilana enjoys practicing yoga and breathwork, skateboarding, dancing, and trick hula hooping, embodying an active and mindful lifestyle that reflects her commitment to wellness. She believes in tailoring treatments to meet each client's unique needs, fostering a supportive environment for healing and growth.
Originally from Waihōpai /Invercargill, Gabby’s interest in human movement began while playing basketball and volleyball throughout highschool and university. She completed her physiotherapy degree with honours through the University of Otago. During her time studying, she also completed papers in nutrition and sport and exercise sciences.
In her downtime she loves to get outdoors, practice yoga, head to the farmer’s market, and get in the vegetable garden. She has a strong passion for the interconnectedness between planetary and people health.
Her special interests include women’s health, massage therapy, paediatric physiotherapy, care for the elderly, and environmental physiotherapy. Her approach in physiotherapy is holistically-centred, looking at not only the site of injury but all other factors that could be influencing it.
